Banters allows users to take their conversations and tell stories. Through Banters, users can share their conversation snippets for amusement and memory keeping. The Banters website uses a bold black and white color scheme, highlighted by the occasional color illustration added to their weekly favorite discussions. The actual conversations are viewed in chat bubbles aligned to the left and right. The positioning helps the reader understand the order of each comment, building a story in an original way.

A new user can become a Banters member by clicking on the blue “Start now.” link found along the top of the homepage. The clean registration form asks for a full name, username, email address, password and date of birth. After entering the information and clicking the grey “Sign Up” button, the user can get started by choosing to look for conversations with their Facebook or Twitter profiles. The user can also access all other features, including account settings and favorite conversations.

Banters provides users with a fun way to tell a personal story, however it is not something that most individuals would be willing to pay for. Working through free social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook makes offering free accounts a logical choice for Banters. Anyone can sign up without paying a fee or agreeing to a subscription price. Banters is accessible to anyone; however users will need an account with Facebook or Twitter to add conversations through Banters.
